The cards are used in games to learn notes, rests, and the Blue Jello words, drawings and hand signs. Nine games are detailed in the insert, Blue Jello Word Cards Ideas. The cards can also be used for writing rhythms. Each note, rest or note grouping is represented once in the set. Two or more sets are needed to write out patterns with repeated rhythms. They can be used independently and/or in combination with blue jello cards – set 1, real rhythm cards and notes and rests cards (spring 2011), big blue jello cards, rhythm playing cards, rhythm bingo cards, blue jello rhythm puzzles, magic notes and magic wands.
